Dr.Bala Krishnamoorthy is a faculty in management and trainer in the areas of general management, strategy, environmental management and corporate social responsibility. Dr.Bala is a rank holder at Post Graduate Degree from the University of Madras. She did her Post Graduate Diploma in Planning from school of planning, Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, CEPT, Ahmedabad. She holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.). in Management from JBIMS, University of Mumbai.

She has written several articles in leading journals and presented research papers in conferences. Her book on Environmental Management Text and Cases was published by Prentice Hall of India and the Second edition is released in January 2008.

Dr.Bala takes up consultancy assignments on training module suitability and evaluation, developing sustainability reports, writing case studies for companies, designs and conducts modular training programs and conducts training programs for industry participants. Her interest areas include strategic management, environmental management, communication, and managerial effectiveness training for environmental NGOs and training programs for cooperatives.
